My management experience is across three distinct environments: military, multiple startups, and in large enterprise. Technology manifests it differently in each of these, and so I've had to do a lot of learning and un-learning over the years.
The knowledge economy is becoming the wisdom economy: the edge is no longer knowing what the information is or how to get it, but knowing when and how to apply it.
